Podcast engineer

The Alternative Blacks Podcast is closing in on 2 years of production and is looking to expand the team. We are looking for somebody to help lead the production of the show. Our ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a deep love for craft beer [or at least willing to learn more about craft beer] and social justice. The candidate will be able to independently execute every step of podcast production, from running recording sessions to mixing and mastering the final product. The candidate will demonstrate excellent editorial sensibilities, as they will be shaping the sound and tone of the show, selecting and placing music, and editing content. There will also be opportunities to create original music and audio backdrops for our shows. The candidate will be deadline-oriented and work closely with our producer and hosts to create and execute production planning. The engineer will report to Tyler.

Social media manager

The Alternative Blacks Podcast aims to highlight the lack of diversity in craft brewers and bring more diversity to the craft beer community. We are looking to bring on a social media manager that can help share that vision and resources with our audience across social media channels. The candidate will pay attention to current trends and will help develop a content calendar. The candidate will be responsible for creating and posting content that stays on-brand and will report to our producer, Annadore.
